Our highly sensitive infrared camera detects moisture trapped inside the wall because of an overflowing gutter and ice dam. If not corrected, mold along with structural damage may likely develop.
Replace wind damaged roof shingles and then seal with polyurethane to prevent future wind blow off.
Missing aluminum fascia trim is very common in Leesburg Virginia because a good majority of the homes here are high and susceptable to wind damage. Our repairs are installed to windstand winds of 100 mph or more.
Not only do we stop ice dam leaks immediately but also prevent ice dam leaks from reoccuring in the future.
When we install new gutters or repair old, we make certain that the gutter is sloped 1/2" for every 10' toward the downspout and screwed into the rafters. |
Leesburg, located 30 miles from Washington D.C., has 45,000 people in it, all of whom live in homes that have roofs. This may be an odd thing to say, but we are simply pointing out the fact that this part of the house is often overlooked because it’s not as visible as other parts. As a homeowner you can’t ignore your roof, any more than you would neglect to give your car a tune up. Tuning up you roof means taking care of roof repairs when they are needed.
Here in Leesburg, we get 91 rainy days a year, with 41.9 inches of rainfall, as well as 21.9 inches of snow in the winter. That adds up to a few hundred gallons of water dumped on your home throughout the seasons. Now, throw in the high heat during the summer with the humidity and frequent thunderstorms. It’s a cruel mix that acts like a battering ram, all courtesy of Mother Nature.
So, how do you know if you need work done on your roof? Here are some warning signs:
You can hear creatures like mice and bats, even rats, moving around in your attic. They got in there through a hole in the roof, not the front door. That means you have a problem that is only going to get worse.
If you can smell mold or rot coming from the attic, then moisture has invaded and become trapped. Black mold spreads like wildfire through damp, warm insulation. It is highly toxic, even deadly.
Your energy bill is oddly high. This happens when insulation loses R-value because it is wet.
You find water in the basement after a storm, during which water spilled over the edge of your gutters onto the ground around the foundation.
You notice a huge bubble forming in the drywall of a ceiling in an upstairs room. Out of curiosity you poke it with a screwdriver. Several buckets of nasty water pour out of the hole.
It’s freezing outside and the entire edge of your roof has been overtaken by icicles. When you check your attic, there are wet spots in the sheathing overhead.
A few hours after a storm, you notice a puddle of water inside your fireplace. It keeps getting bigger until you have to get a mop to soak it up. |
What should you do if you see any of those problems? The first thing to do is call a roofer. By the time you can see the evidence, the water damage has reached a critical point. Keep in mind that excessive moisture or water roaming through your house can do nothing but wreak havoc. You must do something urgently before you have to rip your house apart to fix it.
If you can possibly catch the leaks when they are fairly new, the cost to fix them will be a fraction of a major water damage restoration project. Again, we advise that you have your roof checked by a professional that recognizes the signs long before they get out of control.
Absolutely you can. You simply need to be a proactive Leesburg home owner. A well-maintained roof will actually last much longer and save you the expense of a complete roof replacement. It will also help to keep your energy costs down, and will increase the market value of your home should you ever decide to sell.

Steve and his crew are by far one of the most professional teams I have ever contracted with to perform work on my home. From the start to the finish of the project, everyone was professional, courteous and honest. The work was completed in less than 48 hours from the time of my initial phone call to Roofer911. I was notified consistently as to when work would start and when the crew ran late due to weather. I would recommend Roofer911 without hesitation.

Steve came and assessed the leaks in 2 of my bedrooms. He was very professional and I had an estimate within 20 minutes from when he left. It was going to rain the next day. They came out and repaired my roof the next morning. It rained for almost 5 days straight off and on. I don't see any additionall leaks. I am very happy with the work they did and would recommmend them to others. Thanks for helping me sleep well at night not having to worry about any more leaks.

The company is very professional and the repair was done quickly and done right. I asked that a TV dish be removed, and it was perfectly. However, I believe my Fios cable was cut in removing the dish. In my opinion the work was expensive, but done right. We will use Roofer 911 again in May to do repairs on another house..

Roofer911 was very pleasant to work with. They were quick to respond to our roofing needs. When they arrived they utilized infrared technology to expose any problem areas, they were thorough in their explanations, and their work was professional and efficient. In addition, the owner of the business called to follow-up and ensure that we were satisfied with their work. It's a breath of fresh air to work with a contractor who holds customer service to such high esteem; it speaks to the character of the company and those who work for them. Highly recommended!

Roofer911 was most responsive! The day following a major snow and wind storm in the area, Roofer911 not only answered my call in the late afternoon, once I realized damage occured to my property, but was promptly at my house the next day to not only provide me an online quote (which was necessary due to my schedule, as I could not be home that morning), but to also fix the work 2 hours later! This was imperative due to another impending snow/wind storm, and to prevent further damage. Thank you so much Roofer911, I highly recommend their services. - Elizabeth, Vice President of Operations, Defense Industry
